Hadley starting July 1st, 2009 "K"
-Hadley will begin with a lighter school day just as Corbin has done for the last year with a few changes from his schedule. Hadley will participate in all field trips and classes. She will be allowed to sit in with Corbin in the other subjects if she wishes. Living books will be used as much as possible.
English to include phonics, handwriting and reading.
-Explode the Code-phonics
-Handwriting Without Tears-handwriting/copywork
-Continue reading books together, at the conclusion of these I will hear an oral narration from Hadley. Occasionally we will do a different form of narration such as acting out or drawing.
Mathematics
-Singapore Math-I anticipate her to be in either KB or 1A
-Incorporate manipulatives to aid in understanding concepts
Science
-Observe experiments and nature
-Journal nature
Physical Education
-Swimming lessons
-Everyday play
Extra Curricular
-Classes with homeschool group weekly
-Field Trips
-Co-op classes(?)
-Horse riding lessons(?)
